Lawyers in the Business Litigation Team are experienced at litigating a wide range of cases at every level of court up to the Supreme Court of Canada. We also appear on behalf of clients before various administrative tribunals. While many of our litigation lawyers handle a variety of cases, most form subgroups to specialize in one or two areas of law. They are experienced in undertaking major litigation assignments which involve the management of large quantities of documents and other evidence, frequently of a highly technical nature. They are equipped with leading-edge information systems that enable them to liaise with lawyers and staff outside the courtroom, and to quickly locate pertinent information from massive collections of documents at trial.
Our litigators work closely with specialists in the Corporate & Commercial Team, using an integrated approach that brings together the relevant expertise required by each individual case.
Because these cases can take years to resolve, litigation can be costly. BOYNECLARKE's Litigation Team is pleased to work with law firms that would like to refer their litigation cases, while still maintaining their client relationship in all other legal matters.
Our Litigation Team also has the skills to resolve issues through Mediation. Whenever possible, Mediation offers excellent risk management. It can trim years off the resolution of the case, thereby saving the client both time and money.
