Mark J. Charles was born in Halifax, raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Mark received his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) majoring in History and Political Science from Dalhousie University, Halifax, in 1999. Mark received his LLB from Dalhousie University, Halifax in 2008. He was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2009.

Mark is an Associate with the Business Law Team practicing in the areas of Corporate/Commercial, Aboriginal Law, Intellectual Property, Entertainment Law, Internet Law, Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Collections and Foreclosure matters.

Mark is a Notary Public and member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, Canadian Bar Association, and Indigenous Bar Association.
