David was admitted to the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society in June 2008. He received his Bachelor of Science from Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia in 2001. He received a Spanish Language Certificate from the Universidad de Salamanca, Salamanca, Spain in 2002. David completed his LL.B at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2007.

David is an Associate and practices Personal Injury and Insurance Litigation. David has assisted clients who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents and slip and falls. He also assists clients with short-term disability claims, long-term disability claims and Canada Pension Plan disability claims.

David is currently a board member at the South End Tennis Club. He also volunteers his time on the organizing committee for the Brain Injury Association of Nova Scotia charity golf tournament.
