Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Matt earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University in Wolfville (2005). He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor. at Bond University School of Law in Gold Coast, Australia (2008). After completeing his Articles with BOYNECLARKE, Matt was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2011.
An associate on our Business Litigation Team, Matt focuses his practice on civil litigation and has defamation trial experience. Matt has also appeared in front of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia (Family Division).
Matt is a member the Nova Scotia Barrister's Society and Canadian Bar Association. In his spare time Matt enjoys coaching and playing basketball.
