Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, John received his Bachelor of Arts from Saint Mary’s University in 1981. He then received his LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 1984. John was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1985 and appointed to Queen’s Counsel in February 2008.

John is a Partner and practices in the areas of Mortgage Enforcement, Collections and Real Property.  He is a past manager of the firm’s Executive Committee and past Chair of the firm’s Marketing Committee. John is the Team Leader for our Financial Recovery Team.

John is the Vice Chair of the Board of Governors, Saint Mary’s University. He is also a Board Member of ABC Canada Literacy Foundation.
