Born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Ian received his Bachelor of Arts with Honours from Saint Mary’s University in 2001, majoring in Philosophy.  He completed his LL. B. at Dalhousie University in 2010.  He was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in June 2011. 

Ian is an Associate and member of the Business Law Team, focusing on Labour and Employment Law. 

In his spare time, Ian enjoys spending time with his family and friends.  He enjoys studying Japanese and is a member of the Japanese Society of Halifax.  Ian practices Karate and is a member of the Metro Karate Training Centre in Dartmouth.
