Born in Monastary, Nova Scotia, George received his Kinesiology degree (1997) and Bachelor’s of Education degree (1998) from the University of New Brunswick. George taught school for the Halifax Regional School Board for four years. He received his LLB from Dalhousie Law School in 2005.

George is a Partner and practices in the areas of wills and trusts, estate administration and litigation, and real estate, with a focus on guardianship applications and estate advise. George also serves on the firm's Articling Committee and is Chair of the Residential Real estate team.  George is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society, Canadian Bar Association, and Halifax Estate Planning Council. He is currently the Chair of the Advisory Council for the Indigenous Blacks & Mi’kmaq Initiative, Dalhousie Law School, and former Chair of the Share the Dream Organizing Committee.  George is also a Director of the Nova Scotia Legal Aid Commission.
