Bryce W. Morrison works helping business owners do business. He focuses his practice on secured creditor rights and liabilities, business incorporations and reorganizations, debt restructurings, personal and corporate taxation, securities, and immigration. He has worked with businesses, small and large, in arranging and financing their operations through conventional lenders and public markets.

“Business is challenging,” says Bryce. “It is rewarding to work with business professionals to solve problems and look for creative solutions to make commercial ventures grow and succeed.”

Bryce was admitted to the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society in June 2002. He received his education in law at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, New Brunswick and at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Upon finishing law school, Bryce worked for Boyne Clarke, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia as an articled clerk, as an associate lawyer, and, currently, as a Partner.

He has completed the Indepth Tax Course Parts I and II presented by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

He is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association – Nova Scotia Branch in the Business Law Section, Securities Law Section, and Tax Law Section and of the Canadian Tax Foundation.

Bryce has presented to various audiences and to the Atlantic Provinces Tax Seminar in the areas of debtor and creditor rights, insolvency, maritime law, and international corporate taxation.

In his spare time, Bryce enjoys “do-it-yourself” home renovations and partner dancing, such as Texas two-step and West Coast swing. He conducts his church’s choir and is a former member of the Bedford Singers of Bedford, Nova Scotia.
