Ansley C. Simpson was born and raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. In 2005 she received her B.A. (Honours) from Acadia University with a major in psychology. Ansley completed her LL.B at Dalhousie University in 2009. She was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in June 2010.

Ansley is an Associate and practices Personal Injury and Insurance Litigation. She focuses her practice on claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and the use of defective/dangerous products. She can also assist clients with disability claims arising from short and long-term disability policies as well as the Canada Pension Plan.

Ansley is a Director of the Metro Community Housing Association and a Member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society and the Canadian Bar Association. She is also an active participant on BOYNECLARKE's Dragon Boat Team as well as a player in the Metropolitan Senior Women’s Soccer League.
